Order Selector (Missoula, MT)

Department: Night warehouse
Reports to: Line Leader/Warehouse supervisor
Job overview: This job primarily involves the selection of customer orders from the various areas/pick zones. This may also include the staging and or loading of orders for shipping as directed by supervisory personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Selecting customer orders in the most accurate and efficient manner.
  2. Picking in various pick zones such as mezzanines, freezers and cooler.
  3. Picking methods may involve totes, boxes, full-case and/or pallets.
  4. Other tasks by night supervisory personnel include: checking, order staging and loading of trucks.

Required skills and physical abilities:

  1. Read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  2. Must have attention to detail in the selection of orders.
  3. Must be able to lift and transport a minimum of thirty pounds on a consistent basis and up to 70 lbs. intermittently.
  4. Must be able to take direction from supervisors.
  5. Must be able to work overtime when required.
  6. Knowledge of warehouse practices, procedures, and equipment.
  7. Maintain an acceptable level of job performance on a consistent basis.
  8. Have dependable transportation to and from work.

Receiving Position (Missoula, MT)

POSITION: Receiving Position
PAY: DOE
HOURS: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
(Hours may change slightly depending upon need)

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Breaking down and verifying inbound freight
2. Using an RF Gun to put away and/or stock freight
3. Using a forklift to put away overstock product and bring down overstock product
4. Cutting box-tops, taking off shrink wrap and rotating stock
5. Stocking shelves, picking bulk orders, maintenance of tags/ location stickers/ stocking area
6. Loading and unloading of trucks.

    JOB OVERVIEW:    This job primarily involves the loading, delivery and unloading of product throughout the employer service area.

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING:          

    • Class A commercial driver’s license.
    • Clean driving record.
    • At least 25 years old
    • Preferred 24 months driving experience in commercial vehicles.
    • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
    • Ability to identify potential maintenance problems that could be taken care of timely.  (Preventive maintenance)

    Essential Functions:

    • If required, load truck for delivery.
    • Assist in picking orders and other duties as may be assigned.
    • Secure cargo for transport, using load locks.
    • Deliver product to customers, unloading and checking in orders, collecting monies and completion of proper paperwork.
    • Perform maintenance on vehicle, to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
    • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery operations.
    • Maintain required certifications/licenses as required by employer.
    • Maintain, secure and protect property entrusted to you.
    • Chain and unchain truck tires.
    • Maintain logs of working hours, following applicable state and federal regulations.
    • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate

    • 2 wheeled hand truck, step ladders, aluminum load locks, step ladders & snow chains.

    Critical Physical Demands:

    • Step height is 20 inches to climb into and out of the truck cab. Ladder rungs are 7 inches deep.   Step height of step ladder is 20 inches.  Floor of the van is 50 inches from the ground.
    • Reach heights: The ramp is pulled out of the ramp stow, and lifted from a height of 40 inches to a height of 55 inches; the ramp is stowed at a height of 42 inches.
    • Reach heights: Chains, weighing 46 lbs, are lifted over tires at a height of 42 inches.
    • Reach heights: The fifth wheel release arm and landing gear crank are at 45 inch heights.

    Store Development (Missoula, MT)

    DEPARTMENT: Store Development
    REPORTS TO: Department Manager

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:The Merchandiser will be responsible for setting product,
    ensuring placement; servicing, troubleshooting/repairing and cleaning products;
    collecting and reporting detailed inventory data; and moving product from the
    stock room to the sales floor. You will also work closely with retail
    associates and managers informing them of new product launches, promotions, and
    procedures. Your ability to work independently, build relationships and
    maintain strong partnerships with store personnel is vital in achieving
    the goals of this program.
    Duties include but are not limited to:
    – Comfortable working with minimal supervision
    –  Must be able to complete visits with verbal and/or written instructions
    –  Must be available for regular communication; primarily via email and telephone with supervisor
    –  Independent, self-motivated and organized
    –  Capable of setting product, performing resets, inventory counts, and moving product from stock room to sales floor
    –  Ability to build relationships with store personnel in order to achieve the goals of this program
    –  Ability to work assigned daytime store visit schedule
    –  Experience influencing shelf and display allocation decisions by store management
    –  Experience communicating with store management and associates and building positive relationships
    –  Conducts store visits according to the designated frequency
    –  Ability to multi-task
    –  Displays a professional demeanor while representing the client and our company

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
    – Experience in grocery or c-store field
    – Extensive knowledge of products
    – Computer experience in data entry, Windows (Excel, Word), internet

    – Class B license must be acquired in 3 months
